Playing soccer every week will protect your back.  Recreational soccer can reduce your risk of lower-back injury, according to a new study in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. After playing soccer 2 hours a week for 16 weeks, study participants were able to stabilize themselves 14,5% more quickly after sudden upper-body movement, and their bodies shifted 24% less.
